GiraGlob is inclusive, people-centric art that conceptually and physically encourages participation. GiraGlob is art to touch, sit and rest in, an art that invites to connect and share with others. The GiraGlob is a new social sculpture, a creative meeting place for social interaction & community building.

The GiraGlob may be treated as any painting-surface: brushed, glazed, textured, collaged & sprayed. Sculpturally, it may be transformed by carving, drilling, cutting or adding appendages.  The GiraGlob’s spherical form itself presents new artistic challenges & invites experimentation with new media & technology – whether revisiting art historical favourites in a new context or creating new art of today.

The GiraGlob is a rotating sculpture based on the sphere & offers its surface to painterly imagination. When it turns, a cosy concave space invites the viewer to step in & become part of the work.

After dark, the GiraGlob allows countless opportunities for light & sound-works from projection, reflective Vinyl to luminous fibre optics textiles.

The GiraGlob has the potential to become a Gesamtkunstwerk of our digital age & social media, a total work of street art, blending painting, sculpture, architecture & performance with its environment & all people.
