GiraGlob 0001 well received!

GiraGlob 0001 was well received in the local press & social media. And Whangārei Mayor Sheryl Mai stated in an interview with multimedia journalist Avina Vidyadharan in the Northern Advocate (29 March 2022) that the GiraGlob was an example of the kind of innovative support Councils can provide to help local artists & creators. “Having strict controls to work within when using public money & a requirement to ensure safety when doing things in a public space means projects that get over our thresholds should be in a very good position when their advocates promote them further to the world.”
